May 23, 2012 - The MTV awards did it wrong this year. It was only supposed to be the movies that were in 2011, not this year. Harry Potter and Twilight are nominated.

May 23, 2012 - No!! They're doing it all wrong this year. For example, last year (2011) when they did the movie awards, the only nominees were the movies from 2010 AND ONLY 2010. Same thing with the previous years.

May 23, 2012 - The episode they had called the "obsolete man" focused on the idea of people being killed as entertainment on tv (like THG). Also as a way for the state to control the country b/c it was in a state of chaos. They had no way to control it so the government creates a new law that forces selected individuals to be put to a death in their own choosing. I love both THG and BR, I just think you shouldn't say someone ripped another off b/c they have a few similarities. They're both great films.

May 22, 2012 - I totally agree. The 'team' thing in Twilight is okay because romance is the main plot of the series. The romance aspect of Hunger Games is a tiny subplot. I hate what a lot of these HG fans are turning it into. Hunger Games, to me, is about a story of a girl trying to save her family by overthrowing a totalitarian government. Romance doesn't even come to mind.
