Feb 6, 2011 - I'm actually new to this game (had to save money to upgrade my PC first), but I've played other WW1 sims. When I try to take off the plane pulls right and of course I correct and push forward but as soon as the throttle is at max the plane go everywhere no matter what I try.

Apr 6, 2011 - After some time I've decided that this is my favourite allied plane, faster than the SE5 and easier to fly than the camel. I get up high and z&b the huns. When they get too close its easy for me to run and live to fight another day!!!! I get kills and often make it back home in one piece!!!!!

Apr 6, 2011 - Yep it is probably the best plane in the game to use, and once the SE5 engine issue is fixed I think the SE5 will take the crown instead.

Apr 7, 2011 - On record the Spad is still faster and more manouvrable than the SE5, however when I go onlline guys seem to prefer the sopwiths. Guess most seem to be more fond of turning fighting......

Jun 8, 2011 - @Seglerat In these familiarisation videos I have "warmed up engines" checked in the difficulty settings so I don't have to sit there waiting for the engine to warm up before I takeoff. There is a video in my channel about warming up an engine from a cold start though :-)

Jan 9, 2012 - The Spad XIII is my favoite plane from WW1 because it reminds me of the F4F Wildcat and I really dislike it that you have to buy extra planes!
