Oct 26, 2011 - i see the A2 sight can be taken off an AR 15 but can it be taken off a Colt M4 Carbine or M4A1 ( if there is any difference between them, except the fully auto part on the m4a1)? i'm interested in the ones the army uses. i know there are some civilian models that have the detachable A2, but i don't know what about the military ones

Dec 16, 2011 - breaking down an ar is a quick and easy thing to do. Join the military, we had people who could break down the rifle and bolt and reassemble within 52 seconds.

Jan 22, 2012 - if the point is that you do it yourself is cheaper than going to a gunsmith, its not the tools will cost a ton, a vise, 100-200 bucks, ar15 holder in the vise, 40-50 bucks, good ar wrench,, 20-30 bucks.

Jan 24, 2012 - What is the point of this video since there is no explanation of how to do it? Seems to me that since no techniques are explained, this video is pretty useless.
Loe307uh Comenta:
Jan 28, 2012 - If you're planning to build an AR then you should have the 2-3 non standard tools he used. The rest is basic mechanics tools that normal people have in their tool box.

Feb 21, 2012 - how to do what? The tube just screws in and he shows you what you need to remove, if you cant twist a tube on a threaded base then you dont need to be using a firearm

Feb 29, 2012 - Having read some descriotions, I was still unclear about the interaction between barrel nut and FF tube. Larry cleared that right up!
tzettsjr Comenta:
Mar 4, 2012 - Thank you for the short and to the point video. If this video doesn't clear up how to replace a standard forearm with a free floating one, you need to visit a gunsmith.

Mar 8, 2012 - yea you show us how to do it then when i go to order an upper on ur website all the half decent ones are out of stock....

Mar 15, 2012 - Those are very basic AR-15 tools... I would think anyone serious about the hobby would have them or atleast be planning to get them.
hellstudios Comenta:
Mar 20, 2012 - if you're clever you'll know how to do these things with basic tools.
